Becoming a psychotherapist is an intense and creative process of integrating practice, theory, and personal growth. As an experienced researcher, writer, supervisor, and trainer, with a background in higher education, coaching, and learning and development, I can support you through the post training stage of accreditation.
I love working with trainees who feel unsure about their academic abilities, as well as those who are returning to a formal learning environment after some time. Together, we will work to translate your insights and understanding into strong written form.
I know firsthand how challenging and fulfilling these final written projects can be. Even as an experienced academic, learning to think, feel, and express myself through a relational Gestalt lens was an entirely new skill. My own training culminated in a Distinction—an achievement supported by the academic supervision I received.

How I work
My style is collaborative, dialogic, reflexive, and sensitive to the process as well as the content of our work. I will support you in finding and expressing your distinctive voice as you bring to the page your clinical and theoretical growth and insight. I know how to balance the rigours of academic and course requirements alongside more creative and personal ways of presenting your work.
My practice is rooted in Gestalt theory and concepts, and expanded through process philosophies, (post)qualitative and relational research, organisational psychology, person-centred and systems-psychodynamic frameworks.
Fees
The fee is £55 per 50-minute supervision session, payable in advance of each session. I also charge for reviewing draft documents. We can meet at a frequency that meets your needs, such as monthly or on a more ad hoc basis.
